Lauren Davidson

About Me

I am a nineteen year old college student attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am studying to get a degree in Sports Media, Communications and Broadcasting and I will be minoring in something, yet I am still unsure what. I am originally from Edina, Minnesota. I grew up all over the world such as Ireland, Dubai, Michigan, Arkansas. Yet, Minnesota will always be home to me. In my free time I like to hang out with my firends, go on walks and work out, I like to spend time alone listening to music, But I love ultimately being with people and spending time with all the people that I love. I am so excited to see what the University has to offer me and how much its going to make me grow as a person.

Career Goals

I am a double major in Sports Media, Commuications and Broadcasting with a minor in something unknown yet. I hope to end up doing side line Broadcasting and working for the NBA, MLB, or NFL. I really enjoy sports and watching the competitiveness that it has, I grew up playing a lot of sports so this feild comes naturally to me, I hope to help people enjoy sports and be able to speak to players about their lives off the feild and tell their story.

This Semester

I am a part of the KRNU Broadcasting team, helping with play by play announcing.
Taking classes that really pique my intrest
Finding internships back in my hometown to help me get to my end goal of broadcasting.

Hobbies

I like to be outside, play sports, watch sports and tv shows, hang out with my friends and family, go on car rides, and bake.
